The Century Grooved “Y” Strainer provides mechanical filtration with the benefit of rapid, flame-free installation via grooved couplings. Functionally, its Y-shaped body houses a removable stainless steel screen to capture pipeline debris and protect sensitive equipment. The primary design difference is its grooved-end configuration, which allows for faster installation and easier system modifications compared to traditional flanged systems. A bolted cover allows for quick access to the screen for routine cleaning.
